Watching the Emmys. Out of the corner of my eye I think I caught two men kiss, with one of them going up to accept an Emmy. The award is for best director[?] and he says: “Thanks to my husband, Mark… Someday you will hopefully make an honest husband out of me.”
Can you believe that? This country has actually become progressive enough that a man can feel comfortable acknowledging his husband.
Now if we can just LET PEOPLE MARRY WHO THEY WANT TO MARRY, I’ll be happy.
