Hm.

Hm.

So I thought I’d be smart. I moved my car yesterday afternoon, thinking there’d be a snow emergency declared and I’d have to move it anyway.

Brilliant! Inspired! How smart am I!

Not so much, it turns out. Because I still had to move my car this morning.

Which totally would have worked out awesome if not for the fact that my car doors were frozen shut.

I had to pry one open. And I did so by banging on my window, banging on my door, and just sort of praying.

And as I was prying, drivers were stopping in the street to offer help. Which is completely sweet, but no one wanted to help me break into my frozen car. They all offered scrapers.

Yeah, I have one. IT’S IN MY CAR.

Although my favorite was one guy who yelled—YELLED—at me for not wearing a hat.
