Dude, there’s nothing more disconcerting than staring at photos of Venetian Carnevale for an hour and then finally taking a moment to look up and see what was on my (muted) television only to find a montage of video clips from a Venetian Carnevale.

I thought I might have finally lost all touch with reality. But no. Just a coincidence.

I knew this day was going to be odd when I found myself using the word “troglodyte” in an email. Great word, yeah? Almost as lovely as flummox but less popular.
