Don’t kid yourself. Homan saying 700 feds will be removed from the city leaves 2,000 here. Nothing will change. Agents will still carry on harassing and terrorizing residents for the crime of existing. If ICE would just stop impeding Minnesotans civil, constitutional and human rights, then maybe Minnesota will back down. Until someone is held accountable at the federal level, this is all smoke and mirrors and bullshit.
And the administration trying to save face by saying drawing down to 2,000 agents is because local authorities and MN DOC have started cooperating with DHS is like saying you conquered Mother Nature because you convinced her to make the ocean blue.
